The Niagara Construction Association (NCA) is hosting its first Safety Awareness Day on May 4 at the NCA offices.
The association says in its announcement that h is partnering with Merit Contractors of Niagara, Vallen, St. John Ambulance and the Infrastructure Health and Safety Association (IHSA) to bring awareness to construction safety in Niagara in conjunction with the North American Occupational Safety and Health (NAOSH) Week (May 1-7)
“There is no need to register, just bring yourself, some of your co-workers and friends and we’ll do the rest,” the NCA announcement says. There will be safety awareness information, displays and demonstrations from industry experts, refreshments and door prizes.
The event from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. will be at 34 Scott St. W., St. Catharines.
