The Niagara Sustainability Initiative (NSI) has prepared an educational document, Ontario’s Cap and Trade Legislation: Local Perspectives & Opportunities, which provides an overview of Ontario’s incoming cap and trade program.
“The purpose of this paper is to both provide a summary of the legislation and discuss potential opportunities for facilities operating in the Niagara region,” NSI says in a news release. “The document and formal comments are being distributed in advance of NSI’s event on Sept. 20 addressing the same topic.
