{"id":604,"date":"2015-03-03T08:24:54","date_gmt":"2015-03-03T08:24:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/niagaraconstructionnews.com\/?p=604"},"modified":"2015-03-03T08:24:54","modified_gmt":"2015-03-03T08:24:54","slug":"ohba-welcomes-co-ordinated-plans-review-for-gta-urban-greenbelt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/niagaraconstructionnews.com\/?p=604","title":{"rendered":"OHBA welcomes co-ordinated plans review for GTA urban greenbelt"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ohba.ca\/\"><strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">The Ontario Home Builders\u2019 Association (OHBA<\/span>)<\/strong><\/a> joins the Ontario government in celebrating the 10th anniversary of the largest urban Greenbelt in the world and welcomes the long-awaited review of the provincial Greenbelt and the award-winning Growth Plan, the OHBA said in a recent news release.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are not here to fight the Greenbelt,\u201d said OHBA CEO Joe Vaccaro. \u201cWe are looking forward to working with the government during the review to improve the quality of life and affordability for families living in Ontario.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis review is about connecting the dots between the plans, looking at how they\u2019ve worked together over the last 10 years and refocusing the province, the regions and municipalities on future community and economic development as we look toward 2041 and beyond,\u201d Vaccaro said.<\/p>\n<p>The industry, through OHBA, is pleased to offer insight into the successes and challenges that have arisen over the last decade through the implementation of the Growth Plan.
