{"id":897,"date":"2016-04-08T01:51:53","date_gmt":"2016-04-08T01:51:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/niagaraconstructionnews.com\/?p=897"},"modified":"2016-04-08T01:51:53","modified_gmt":"2016-04-08T01:51:53","slug":"regional-chair-alan-caslin-to-report-on-niagaras-future-at-state-of-the-region-address","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/niagaraconstructionnews.com\/?p=897","title":{"rendered":"Regional Chair Alan Caslin to report on Niagara\u2019s future at State of the Region address"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Regional chair <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.niagararegion.ca\/government\/council\/profiles\/acaslin-profile.aspx\">Alan Caslin<\/a><\/strong><\/span> will address residents of Niagara at his second annual State of the Region event, at the Scotiabank Convention Centre on April 12.<\/p>\n<p>In his keynote, he will review and reflect upon the past year in Niagara, while also addressing business plans for the future of the region.<\/p>\n<p>One of the major themes of the Caslin&#8217;s\u00a0address will be the aligning of shared priorities and goals between Niagara Region and all levels of government, which will ensure that future developments and projects are completed in an efficient and harmonious manner.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">&#8220;For the first time in Niagara Region our local municipalities are closely aligned on shared goals and priorities,&#8221; Caslin said in a statement. &#8220;Over the past year we have put forward a proactive approach with business and community partners to foster economic prosperity throughout our region.
