NIAGARA FALLS – The City of Niagara Falls has introduced a new online service to help builders, developers and residents navigate its planning and building processes.
The city’s Planning, Building and Development department is offering CityView Chat, a live support feature for users of the CityView Portal—Niagara Falls’ online platform for submitting building permits, planning applications and other development-related requests.
The chat service connects applicants directly with department staff during business hours, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. It is designed to assist with filing applications, making payments and troubleshooting navigation issues within the portal.
City officials say CityView Chat is a specialized tool to provide better support for the development industry while also improving engagement with residents on planning and building matters.
The service can be accessed through the CityView Portal on the MyCity Dashboard at www.niagarafalls.ca/cityview.
