Karen Clark-Whistler, TD Bank’s chief environmental officer, will speak at the next Niagara Sustainability Initiative (NSI) gathering on Thursday, Sept. 25.

NSI’s announcement says Clark-Whistler led TD Bank to become the first North American-based bank to be carbon neutral.”

“In 2012, she led the design and launch of TD Forests, which aims to help grow and protect North American forest habitat,” the announcement said.

The event starts at 7:45 p.m. at the St. Catharines Golf and Country Club.
